Visit to Lloyds – in Partnership with the Emerging Insurance Professionals
In partnership with the Emerging Insurance Professionals Group we are excited to offer members the opportunity to travel to London and have a tour of the historic Lloyds of London building.
The subsidised ticket price includes return train travel from Leeds station to London Kings Cross, an hour tour of the Lloyds building, and a buffet lunch.

£30 (of which £5 is a charitable donation)
Itinerary
A full itinerary will be provided to attendees, but approximate timings are as follows:
07:45 – Meet at Leeds Train Station
08:15 – 11:30 – Train to London and Underground Travel to Lloyds
12:00 – 13:00 – Tour of Lloyds across two groups
13:15 – 15:15 – Networking Buffet Lunch
15:30 – 19:00 – Return Underground Travel & Train to Leeds (time will be provided to buy refreshments for the train)
Spaces are limited, with availability for 17 people. We therefore politely request that you only book a ticket if you are committed to attending and have not visited Lloyds of London before.

- How business is transacted within Lloyds
- The roles of brokers and underwriters at Lloyds
- Lloyds' role in the UK and global insurance market
Conditions
- Maximum 2 people per company/office.
- Payment required a minimum of 1 week prior to the event.
- Any cancellations please inform emma.vernon@marshcommercial.co.uk as soon as possible.
- On the day cancellations without appropriate reason will incur a £50 fee.
- Costs of refreshments (other than buffet lunch) not included.
- All visitors need to show original photo identification to collect their security pass at Lloyds (images or duplicates are not accepted).
- Backpacks or luggage are not permitted on the Lloyd's tour and items must be left within the dedicated Cloakroom. Valuable items may be retrieved and carried.
- Visitors may be subject to a bag search at any time.
- Dress code is business. No jeans or trainers.
