We are pleased to announce two half-day workshops, starting at 9am and 1.30pm respectively, on the subject of learning, study and exam techniques.

Who should attend?
Anyone who is seeking an insurance or financial planning qualification (CII or PFS). These are interactive workshops to assist with study and examination techniques.
Aims and Objectives - By the end of this workshop delegates will be able to:
- Identify how to make the best choice of subject for the future
- Understand how to maximise study time
- Appreciate the tools available
- Identify the type of study techniques that may be most useful
- Appreciate the methods to be used to maximise memory
- Recognise the techniques that could possibly be used to impress the examiner
- Appreciate the need for time management in preparation and on the day
- Identify and utilise the real meaning of the terminology used
- Hints and tips will also be offered on Certificate, Diploma and Advanced Diploma subjects
All delegates will receive a detailed workbook as a record of the workshop.
The trainer: Graham Williams BA ACII
CII Accredited Trainer, Intralex Ltd
Graham originally started his career with Minster Insurance Company, progressing through to claims management level, ultimately becoming Technical Claims manager at Groupama Insurance. In 2004 he started his own business, Intralex Ltd.
Graham has worked for and been involved with the CII for many years. Specifically, he has written the 765 and IF5 (Motor Insurance) textbooks and currently writes the claims chapters for the M94 textbook.He has worked for over 30 years in the insurance industry and his company provides training and consultancy services throughout the UK and occasionally overseas.
He also worked in a prison as a tutor, giving him an insight into criminal psychology and has secured a teaching qualification. He is currently the Deputy President of the Luton and St Albans Insurance Institute.
