Speaker Biography
Alison Cooper, ACT One Training Services Ltd
Alison Cooper has extensive experience within the insurance profession, in a career that has spanned over 30 years. ACT One Training Services Ltd, (www.ACT1Training.com) offers numerous courses for General Insurance subjects (including fast track programmes). Clients include the CII, Lloyd’s of London, IIL, University of Gibraltar, blue-chip insurance companies and many local insurance institutes.
As a past CII Senior examiner/Marker, Alison regularly gives study technique talks for all levels of CII qualifications, starting with FIT, through to Advanced Diploma. Most recently the launch of Masterclass seminars for diploma units are proving popular, especially MO5 Insurance Law, with other subject units now been added to the menu. These can be delivered face to face or via a virtual platform. Alison achieved her Fellowship in 2009 and is currently a guide for 991 & 994 Insurance specialisations.
Alison is a CII Education champion/ motivational speaker and recently added to her Financial resilience suite of talks, one focusing on Financial resilience for young professionals. Alison currently edits the CII study text IF6 Household Insurance products.
