Welcome

Happy New Year to All!

I hope you all had a happy and healthy festive period; however you decided to celebrate this year. We are excited to share with you some updates on the recent and upcoming activities we have been working on.

We saw challenging times continue in 2021 for many of our members and I want to take this opportunity to let you know your Local Institute Council in Norwich is very much still here to support you as we slide into a new year full of smashing goals, chasing dreams, and finding success on whatever is most important to you.

We are pleased with the success of our virtual networking and CPD events, so these will continue for the foreseeable future. We will however be looking out for opportunities to offer face to face events again in 2022 and will get you posted!

All the best

Alycia Thomson

The Insurance Charities

Do you or someone you know someone who may need help from the Insurance Charity?

The Charity works throughout the UK and Ireland to support current and former insurance employees and their dependants.

Last year it awarded over GBP912k to help pay for things such as household appliances; school uniforms; funeral costs, rehabilitation, and property adaptations.

The Charity transforms insurance peoples' lives for the better; by providing them with a lifeline for as long as it's needed.

You may have been impacted by domestic abuse, relationship breakdown, illness, or redundancy and may be needing one-off or ongoing financial support. Perhaps a colleague you know is going through a difficult time due to unexpected misfortune and could benefit from getting in touch.

All applications will be dealt with in confidence - the Charity is independent from any employer or professional body. It doesn't matter what role you've had in the industry and both working and non-working people can apply.
