The Insurance Institute of Aberdeen is happy to announce that their next event will focus on pension scheme analysis.

With pension transfers a hot topic for discussion of late across the Financial Planning community, alongside the introduction new qualifications from the CII exam, we thought it would be beneficial to bring in some outside assistance.

John Reynolds, of Expert Pensions, whom many of you may know as a specialist in this area, has agreed to come to Aberdeen again on 6th September to provide us with some seminars on the subject.

Although we have been able to support the cost of bringing John to Aberdeen, this is a paid for event. Tickets are priced at £25 per session.

In Session 2 (14.00 – 17.00): "How to use FCA APTA critical evaluation methodology in your suitability reports and pension exams?

John will be looking at how to join up FCA requirements with your suitability reports and how to apply your technical ability to make reports more robust as well as going over detailed questions and using examples to show you what good looks like in a DB TV APTA compliant suitability report.

Please note you may also want to book a place at our other session on the day, which will look at the APTA, please be aware that this will be charged separately.

There is also a buffet lunch available (from 12.30) for those attending either the morning or afternoon sessions, included in the cost of the event.

This should hopefully provide you with the opportunity to discuss the subject with your peers and ask John any questions which may come up during the sessions.

Spaces are limited so please book soon to avoid disappointment!
