Meet Your Council

The council of the Insurance Institute of Aberdeen would like to invite you to a social event on Thursday 4th July 2019 at Revolución de Cuba Aberdeen, Academy Centre Courtyard, Belmont Street, AB10 1LB commencing at 6pm.

We would like to increase the opportunity to hear from all members on an informal basis. We really want to know what your expectations are, particularly what we can do to help your career and further develop our profession in Aberdeen.

This is an opportunity to meet the council and get your views put across, it is a chance for the meeting of minds across the insurance and financial services professions to discuss what your local institute can do to help you and how we can help each other.

David Irvine, National Membership Engagement Manager at CII, is going to introduce the Discover Risk game to us and we will also have an oportuntity to play both Discover Risk and Discover Fortunes board games.

The Discover Risk and Discover Fortunes are interactive board games designed to raise awareness of the profession to students at school and college. Discover Risk relates to insurance whilst Discover Fortunes to financial planning. You can find more information about it on http://m.discoverrisk.co.uk/

The event is open to any members of the Aberdeen Institute, or the CII as a whole, who may wish to attend.

So please join us for a glass of wine (or something softer), some tapas and a game of Discover Risk and Fortunes, and share your views and our hospitality.
