Webinar on Industrial Equipment Damage Assessment
About this Session
Fires and explosions in energy and process facilities can be devastating events that cause significant property damage and business interruption. When root cause investigations are concluded and the focus turns to restoring the plant to operations, the next steps can have a significant impact on the financial loss incurred.
In this session, we will discuss some of the methods available to assess industrial equipment damaged by fire or explosion, how to quantify the loss and the options to mitigate losses through repair, reinstatement or replacement. The session will be interactive with examples and case studies. We encourage questions and queries as they help everyone’s learning and understanding
Learning Objectives
1) Understand the methods available to systematically assess equipment damage against international standards.
2) Understand the principles behind widely used cost estimating techniques.
3) Understand ways to mitigate property damage and business interruption losses.
