Birmingham Insurance Institute Summer Networking Barbecue
Following the success of our 2025 Institute Dinner which sold out pre-launch and in response to attendee’s requests for further networking events open to the wider insurance and financial services community, the Institute is organizing a summer charity barbecue networking event at the iconic Library of Birmingham.
We will be holding it on the Library Terrace with its spectacular views over the centre of Birmingham. In the event of bad weather, the event will be held in the equally stunning Book Rotunda at the Library.
- Date of Event: Wednesday 25th September 2024.
- Time: 6.30PM till 11.30PM.
- Location: The Library Terrace at the Library of Birmingham (in the Book Rotunda at the Library in the event of bad weather)
- Cost per Ticket: £60 which includes a £5 donation to the President’s Charity.
Numbers are limited to 200 and will be allocated on a first come first served basis. This event is intended to be more informal than the dinner and the dress code is “dress for the weather”. Hawaiian shirts and Bermuda shorts welcome if the weather allows. As there will be no limitation on the number of tickets ordered an early confirmation of attendance is recommended.
We will have sole use of the Terrace for five hours. A welcoming glass of prosecco (or soft drink), street food barbecue and a live DJ will be provided. Additional drinks can be purchased via either a card or account bar.
The ticket price includes a £5 donation to our President’s Charity One By One https://onebyone.org/our-story/ and the charity founder will be in attendance to answer your queries and talk about what the charity does.
