Breakfast Seminar: Bribery - Myths and Reality
This seminar will be run by Michael Hibbs, a partner at Shakespeares
This talk will be of interest to those who suspect dishonesty in colleagues or customers, those who do not believe they or their organisation treat the issues seriously enough and to directors and others who may face imprisonment if their organisation is convicted of a bribery offence. Finally it will be of interest to those who have received some training in the subject but need updating.
Learning points include:
- How corruption and bribery are serious risks for most businesses
- What you should do if you discover a "risk" or a "problem"
- How you can protect your business or that of your clients
- How to "know" our customers better
- Red flag warnings and the "grey" area in the middle
- What might be wrong with some corporate hospitality
