Seminar: What to expect from the FCA and Conduct Risk
This half day seminar will be run by Branko Bjelobaba.
Branko has a first class reputation for his expert knowledge on compliance and regulatory matters and their impact on the UK financial services and general insurance industries. Combining comprehensive knowledge with an engaging and pretty unique presentation style, Branko manages to deliver presentation sessions that inform, enlighten and even entertain (all at the same time!!). Branko is proud to have spoken at virtually all LIs throughout the UK, many with standing room only which continues to perplex him based on the subject matter!!
Overview:
This event highlights the key changes made by the FCA and several key initiatives including: thematic reviews, Section 166s, Approved Persons' attestations and the Swinton director fines/bannings plus the huge focus on Conduct Risk. Branko will explain what is expected by the FCA and the changes you should have made/will want to make.
Learning Objectives:
By attending this event, delegates will be able to identify how to:
- implement a customer centric strategy, which produces good, sustainable profits;
- have a board-led culture which supports that strategy and good consumer outcomes;
- develop products that operate in the interests of customers, and use behavioural techniques to ensure that those customers also understand them; and
- take a prospective view on the products that you sell, stress-testing and ensuring appropriateness for your customers.
