AF3 Revision Day
Birmingham Insurance Institute is happy to announce that they will be running an AF3 revision course; designed to kick-start your AF3 exam study.
The course will advise what subjects you should be studying and what to focus on. Most importantly, it will also advise you where the most marks are to be gained - structuring your AF3 exam study and setting you on the right path to the October exam.
Learning objectives:
At the end of this event you will be able to identify:
- Analysing complex pension clients within the context of AF3 exam
- Appropriate pension solutions based upon a detailed understanding and analysis of the HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) tax regime as it applies to transitional protections
- Pension contribution limits, allowances, tax reliefs, money purchase and occupational pension scheme annual allowance calculations, tax charges and describe appropriate charge repayment options for clients.
- CETV/TVAS and critically analysing a pension transfer
The course will be delivered by John Reynolds who is widely acknowledged as (the) leading tutor in the AF3 exam and regularly delivers successful AF exam tutorial workshops for CII/PFS regions throughout the UK including Glasgow, Manchester, Liverpool and Southampton.
