 Introduction and welcome

 Presentation from a BI practitioner with broad experience of business interruption programme design

 Lunch – a cold sandwich lunch is provided

 Case study- utilising knowledge gained in the morning session

 Open questions throughout day

Content:

The day will look at how to calculate a correct insurable gross profit sum insured, consider what are the main extensions required (and why), point out the main pitfalls and consider required amendments to the ‘standard’ policy wording. Please bring a calculator!

Trainer:

Diane Jenkins is a technical general insurance trainer with extensive senior level insurance experience, including 24 years at Aon. She was a member of the IIL/ CILA Research Study Group 265 that published Business Interruption Policy Wordings in October 2012 and she assisted the author with the up-dating of the 9th edition of Riley on Business Interruption Insurance. She provides all levels of BI training, including Advance BI training for the CII Broker Academy, and is the Education Secretary and a past Chairman of the London Business Interruption Association.

Time:9.30am Registration; 10am Start; 12.45pm Sandwich Lunch; 4pm Finish

This event is free of charge to CII/PFS members.
