Biography:
Kevin has over 30 years’ experience in data forensics, anti-fraud management, data analytics, data security and governance. He is an experienced consultant for the insurance industry offering a broad range of consultancy services aimed at tackling first and third-party fraud.
Most recently he has been working on behavioural analysis and machine learning with a b2b start up.
Previously he was Head of Analytics at the Insurance Fraud Bureau. Successful projects include implementation and launch of the Insurance Fraud Register, ISO 27001 accreditations, expert speaker assignments, industry representation at government level and hosting international counterparts
Overview:
As the insurance industry looks to embrace a digital relationship with customers, we look at the good, the bad and the ugly data. From data governance, security, single customer view and fraud, data is key. We look at fraud and leakage as a result of poor data and controls
Learning objectives:
- To understand the importance of capturing good data.
- To understand the impact of bad data.
- To recognise systems that promote bad data capture.
- To improve awareness of fraud resulting from poor data controls. To improve accurate data capture during customer interactions.
