A Masterclass in Stress Management

Stress is a major contributor to mental and physical ill health. Not only is it important that individuals know how to identify and manage the negative effects of stress - there is also great value in all of us investing in proactively developing stress management tools as a great protective measure for long-term good mental health.

This 1-hour mental health session introduces some new stress management tools and serves as a great reminder of the relationship between stress and ill health.

By attending this presentation delegates will be able to:

  • Summarise the negative effects of stress
  • Identify possible stressors with clarity,
  • Understand how certain thoughts, habits, attitudes, and behaviours may be contributing to feelings of stress
  • Explain the four pillars of stress management
  • Develop some positive, healthy ways of managing stress

Speaker Bio - Steve Heath

Steve is one of the co-founders of Mental health in Business. He has a passion for helping leaders, managers and organisations to lead the way with mental health & wellbeing in the workplace.

Steve has 10+ years of business ownership experience, having established, run, and sold a successful media production business. His focus is now on mental health in the workplace. He has considerable experience working, volunteering and advising in this area as well as his own lived experience of poor mental health. He is an accredited Mental Health First Aid instructor, wellbeing coach and committed teacher of breathwork for emotional and mental wellbeing.
