Eating for Mental Wellness
Eating for Mental Wellness
What we eat doesn’t just affect our physical health: it can also affect our mental health and wellbeing. The relationship between our diet and our mental health is complex. However, research shows a link between what we eat and how we feel. This 1-hour webinar session will explore the relationship between what we eat, how we eat, and mental wellness.
Participants will leave the session with a deeper understanding of the link between food and mood and how to establish healthier eating patterns for better mental health.
By attending this presentation delegates should be able to:
- Summarise the role that diet and food play in promoting good mental health.
- Explain what is meant by the terms; diet, balanced diet and nutrition.
- Identify some of the best-known eating styles and describe how different foods are a protective factor for mental health.
