Ever thought about getting more involved with your local council?

We are always looking for new people to join us on council and help shape what we do for our members. We have a number of people who have expressed an interested in joining council from AXA Insurance and we now want to encourage people to join us from other companies to ensure all types of member are represented.

The role is voluntary and you would be expected to attend 4 council meetings a year. Meetings are normally held at 8.30am till 10am at AXA Insurance Offices. In addition you would be expected to contribute in one or more of the following areas:

- Sports and Social including Young Members
- Learning and Development
- Education
- Communications including Website and Social Media
- Charities

We also have a number of key roles including President, Deputy President, Treasurer, Secretary, Dinner Secretary and Education Secretary.

This is a good opportunity for you to develop skills outside of your role, providing networking opportunities and leadership skills.

Perhaps if you cannot commit the time to sit on council you would be willing to become a contact to share ideas and events within your office.
