Who should attend? Anyone involved in or with the insurance and financial services industry, whether a CII/PFS members or member, who wants to learn more about the professional body and the work it does.

Learning Objectives

By the end of this session, you will be able to:
-describe why the CII exists
-outline what services the CII provides to members
-outline how the public see the CII
-discuss the importance of the network of local institutes to the industry
-identify how you can get involved with Bolton to further develop your skills and career
-describe the range of job roles and current industry issues you have discussed during the speed networking

-Learn about the Insurance Charities and the type of help they can give.

Sandra will also be available after the lecture to discuss any qualification enquiries.

Speaker biography

Sandra McDonald BA Cert CII is the Regional Membership Manager for the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII), working with members and the local insurance institutes across the North of England. Sandra works on initiatives to improve local membership communications and membership services, as well as raising the profile of the CII and the financial services industry. Sandra can often be found giving presentations on behalf of the CII at lectures, conferences and formal dinners, covering subjects such as qualifications, ethics and key industry issues. Sandra will also be joined by representatives from the local institute.
