We’ll be talking about Vehicle Construction and Technology, demonstrating advances in vehicle safety systems from the last 20 years to date as well as construction methods. Within the session we will be able to show some crash testing and a comparison of these advancements over the years.
This will lead to discussion of the importance of correct repair methods and what happens when things go wrong. The advance of vehicle technology comes at a price, the ABI notice the average repair bill has risen by nearly 32% in the three years preceding 2017 and this presentation should help to understand the reasons why .

Speaker Biography
Matthew has worked in Insurance for 6 years, coming to AXA Insurance in 2012 after studying Accounting, Business and Statistics. He joined the Engineering Team in 2014 as a Motor Engineer, before joining Supply Chain as a Data Analyst in 2017. Philip has a background in vehicle body repair and Insurance for over 25 years. He has worked for both Aviva and Axa Insurance and has recently taken over as Education Officer for the IAEA in his spare time.
