Our showcase event - the Annual Dinner - was held on the 8th April at AFC Bournemouth.

The evening, was the highlight of the Institute's calendar, and provided yet again a great opportunity to catch up with old colleagues and meet new members. We were joined by President, Insurance Institute of Jersey - Alison Webb, President, Insurance Institute of Southampton - Kelvin Farmaner and Vice President, Insurance Institute of Guernsey - Callum Beaton

This year we moved to the "Premiership" venue that is AFC Bournemouth's Vitality Stadium . It was a wonderful evening of delicious food, fine wine and great entertainment. The atmosphere was perfect, and our President hosted a variety of captivating speakers including John Moore MBE, Deputy President CII and the inspiring and the popular presenter and corporate entertainer, John Simonett.

The Institute was pleased to announce and award the winners in its annual Student of the Year awards, now in its second year:

PFS at Certificate level - Richard Batchelor (Eight Wealth Management)

CII at Certificate level - Giselle Schrils (Jelf Lampier)

PFS at Diploma level - Nicola Short (LV=)

CII at Diploma level - Michelle Smith (LV=)

PFS at Advanced Diploma level - Harriet Marlow (Lorica Wealth Management)

The judging panel made an additional award for PFS at Fellowship level - Peter Fairweather (Coleman Financial Services).
