May 2018 Lunchtime CPD - Growth Mindset and The Chimp Paradox
Event Overview:
Do you sabotage your own success? Do your emotions sometimes dictate your life?
Growth Mindset is based on Carol S Dweck Ph.D Self Theories. Dweck is one of the world’s leading researchers in the field of motivation and is a professor of Psychology at Stratford University. Her research focused on why people succeed and how to foster success.
The Chimp Mind Management Model was created by Prof Steve Peters based on scientific facts and principles. The model helps you to develop yourself and choose your emotions around every day situations.
This session will provide some insight into some of the theory and help you consider how developing your mindset and emotional resilience can help you achieve your goals.
