Event Overview:
If you’ve ever spent valuable ‘networking’ time glued to your phone, hiding in the loo or chatting to the one person you already know, you’re not alone!
Networking, when used well, can be a game-changer in creating opportunities, yet still the very thought of it can fill many of us with dread. Why is that and how can we change our mindset?
This session will examine why many professionals actively avoid networking, explain how to overcome some of the common fears around it and offer 10 tactics to have you networking with confidence at your next event.
Speaker:
Louise White First Line Manager Development Consultant - Ageas Insurance Ltd
Louise is a learning and development professional who specialises in the design and delivery of learning across a range of subjects from technical to soft skills.
She brings 15 years leadership experience to her current role, where she is responsible for Ageas | Leaders; a new development offering aimed at giving leaders the learning they need, when they need it, in the way they want to learn.
She also nurtures aspiring leaders and future technical experts through Ageas’ flagship talent programme and delivers psychometric-based learning as an Insights Discovery Accredited Practitioner.
Audience:
The session is aimed at all CII/PFS members or guests with an interest in self-development as well as those leaders and mentors who are responsible for others achieving their personal and business targets.
