Facebook Live for National Apprenticeship Week
To mark the week-long celebration, the Chartered Insurance Institute will be running a Facebook Livestream aimed at both 16-18 year olds, parents and teachers. The livestream promises to be engaging as Capital FM’s Roman Kemp will host the debate. We will also have a former apprentice to give his point of view on apprenticeships as well as a HR Talent Advisor and a representative from the National Careers Service.
The CII wants to challenge the current perception around apprenticeships and ultimately get young people to consider an apprenticeship as an esteemed and successful route into a career.

Research also uncovered that 96% of 16-18 year olds feel that their parents were in some way influential when it came to educational and career choices. We also found that parent’s place the biggest reliance on their schools to get their information from (57%) which is why it is so important that parents are fully informed which is why we are inviting them to watch our livestream.
