Negotation from the very beginning
Aimed at people who are very new to the industry, this session is designed to show the importance of building skills, and share the tips and hints on how to be an effective negotiator. In a world where more interaction is online, you might think such skills are outdated BUT how were the terms negotiated for the product you bought online agreed? The insurance market interlinked, each of you have a part to play in any transaction, negotiating is not about getting one's own way, it's about getting the right deal and representing the best interest of the party you represent. This session is intended to introduce you to the importance of a successful negotiation, from different perspectives, to achieve a common goal. Learning Objectives
Cost Even if you or your business are not current members please come along, we are proud of what our profession offers and would like you to share in our experience. Lunch is provided, as it is for all such Continual Professional Development lunchtime events hosted by the IIB and they are free to members, we are extending the invitation to all who may be eligible to become who work within the Bristol insurance sector. Speaker Karen Brown, Mediation-Commercial decisions by agreement, will host the event. Karen is ACII qualified and a chartered Insurance Broker. She has worked in London, South East and the local Bristol market for insurance companies, local, national and international Broking Houses. Karen now runs her own mediation and training business. A past president of the Insurance Institute of Bristol, Karen is a member of the Council and works closely with the Education Committee |
