This session focus on the need for us all to make a positive first impression and build confidence through positive personal impact. It’s a key skill to be able to be assertive but to fully appreciate the needs of others, in debate and discussions. This session will help you recognise when over assertive behaviour can be perceived as aggressive with tips and tools on ensuring you are heard and respected when speaking up.

Objectives

Identify and understand the need for assertiveness

Build personal confidence, self-esteem and improve their personal impact and interactions with others.

Understand the difference between aggressive, non-assertive and assertive behaviour.
