What we eat doesn’t just affect our physical health: it can also affect our mental health and wellbeing. The relationship between our diet and our mental health is complex. However, research shows a link between what we eat and how we feel. This 1-hour webinar session will explore the relationship between what we eat, how we eat, and mental wellness.
Participants will leave the session with a deeper understanding of the link between food and mood and how to establish healthier eating patterns for better mental health.
Learning Objectives
By attending this presentation delegates should be able to:
- Summarise the role that diet and food play in promoting good mental health.
- Explain what is meant by the terms; diet, balanced diet and nutrition.
- Identify some of the best-known eating styles and describe how different foods are a protective factor for mental health.
