Online
Wednesday, 11 December 2024
12:30 pm – 1:30 pm (UK time)
    • Kerris Earle, Zing 365

The growth in ESG and Social Responsibility has meant that there is increased recognition of the Human Rights responsibilities a business has, as well as amplified expectations around how businesses tackle rights issues such as Child Labour, Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking.

Human Rights is a term we will all be familiar with, but what are they exactly? And what does respecting and protecting them mean for business operations?

In this session we will address the above questions and explore the relationship between business and Human Rights.

After attending this webinar you will:

  • Be able to define Human Rights.
  • Be aware of the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights.
  • Have a basic understanding of what respecting and protecting Human Rights means for how an organisation “does business”.
