Overview

The aim of this one hour session is to increase confidence in your ability to recall information, to light up parts of the brain and increase your RAM.

Learning objectives

At the end of this event, the delegate will be able to identify:

  • how memory functions, focusing on recall and remembering names
  • state dependent memory
  • stacking and pegging techniques
  • anchoring

Speaker biography

Adrian Nash is the Managing Director of Radius 360 Ltd, a learning and development company established in 1998 offering training, consulting, profiling and coaching services to business clients. He has expertise in the designing and presenting of a wide range of management and behaviour related training programmes, as well as specialising in the use of the Discovery psychometric instrument.

Adrian has been an advisor for the Highways Agency Training Board (responsible for the replacement of policy traffic officers on the UK motorway networks), he has run learning and development projects for the Scottish Parliament, the Angolan State Oil Industry, and it a tutor and assessor for the Institute of Leadership and Management and the British Institute of Facilities Management.

Bryan Shaw's working life began in the Freight Forwarding industry at Felixstowe, with a short stint at Dover. Starting as messenger and office junior, he finally escaped the profession at the level of Operations Director. Since 1998 Bryan has been responsible for much of the training manual design and production at Radius 360, for both general programmes and bespoke training to match client-specific requirements.
