Confidence and Self Esteem
In this one-hour course, learn what is meant by the terms ‘self-esteem’ and ‘confidence’, recognise some causes of low self-esteem and low confidence and how they can link to mental health, learn how to use strategies such as self-talk to challenge negative thoughts and improve self-esteem and confidence, and know where to get further help.
A message from our speaker, Anne.
I am delighted to introduce myself as a trainer with Cambridgeshire, Peterborough and South Lincolnshire Mind, your local mental health charity. I am a qualified teacher and have been privileged to deliver training and to manage and govern charities with a mental health focus in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough over 30 years. I have been privileged to work in the fields of mental health, volunteer opportunities, visual impairment, HIV and child berereavement, and as a Samaritan volunteer and trainer. I look forward very much to meeting you.
