2020 Examination Prizes

The prizes awarded are:

• The Stanley Brown Prize - for unit M96 Liability insurance
• The London Business Interruption Association Prize – for unit M93 Commercial property and business interruption insurance

Most impressively, both awards were won by the same person! Many congratulations to Miss Catherine Tang from Thomas Caroll (Brokers) Ltd.

The Stanley Brown Prize has been running since the creation of the CII, so it is one of our oldest prizes that is still being awarded (it had its 100 year anniversary in 2019!). It was originally created in honour of Mr Stanley Brown by his family and friends and has been continued to be associated with our Liability Insurance units throughout the years.

The London Business Interruption Association Prize is awarded with the London Business Interruption Association as sponsors, who have been involved with our prizes since 2004. Originally awarded for the best candidate in the April/October sessions when it was a written paper, since it’s move to Coursework we now award it to the best overall scoring candidate.
