New Age Insurance for New Age Terrorism

Pool Reinsurance are the most significant providers of terrorism cover in the UK.

With 15 terror attacks during 2017, the threat of terrorism is increasing and changing. Pool Reinsurance continue to evolve their skills and respond effectively to these threats. With the construction of their self-assessment risk tool, they are continuously working to close the terrorism gap.

They join Novus on August 30^th 2018 with an aim to:

• Examine how the terrorism threat is evolving
• Understand the dynamic nature of the threat and how Pool Reinsurance are responding
• Consider why terrorism is different to other catastrophe classes
• Appreciate that terrorism risk can be managed and how a business can address this
