ACII Workshops - Advanced Underwriting subject 960

The Insurance Institute of Cardiff are please to launch the next group of workshops to take you through ACII Advanced Underwriting Module 960.

This programme offers members the opportunity to benefit from an invaluable study course specifically designed to support students in attaining qualifications through structured group learning.

Consisting of three study day workshops, Alan Chandler will take you through the ACII Advanced Underwriting Module 960. With this programme, you will be able to cut down on the amount of study time needed to crack the coursework, whilst working alongside a group of people all undertaking the same subject.

Dates of the study days:

• Session one Monday 05 August 2024
• Session two Wednesday 26 September 2024
• Session three Thursday 31 October 2024

Entry criteria:

• You must be a CII member to proceed
• You would have achieved your DIP CII by the start date of the study course
• At application stage you should be supported by your line manager / employer
• The Institute of Cardiff will be providing a large financial commitment to run this course however we will be looking for a contribution of £200 from you (or your employer) per module to confirm their commitment to the programme.
• In addition, you (or your employer) will be required to pay for coursework entry fees, study materials.

Points to consider:

• You need to be serious and committed to attaining your qualification.
• You are expected to attend all workshops.
• You are expected to maintain the pace of the course and submit coursework within specified timelines.
• Please note due to the avoidance or possibility of plagiarism there will be no slides or notes available from the trainer for any sessions, therefore delegates must attend in person via Zoom.
• There are a limited number of spaces available in order to maximise engagement.
• The institute may look to recover costs for non-attendance from you or your employer.

We will also be running Risk Management in Insurance 992 which sill start in November 2024 and Marketing Insurance Products & Services 945 which will start in February 2025.
