About the session:

Cyber Insurance is fast becoming an essential insurance cover for those who run business. This course aims to demystify some of the language used and look at the kind of events that can happen.

We will look at the elements of cover that fall within this subject as well as some of the underwriting concerns. We will use real life examples of what can go wrong and how a cyber insurance policy can offer both protection & peace of mind.

This is an introduction course which will be suitable for anyone who wants to understand more about the subject to feel confident in discussing with their clients.

Learning Objectives:

• Understand better some of the language that is used and what is means

  • Feel confident in discussing the elements of cover with your clients

  • Have a better understanding of what cyber insurance is and who may need it

About the speaker:

The Course will be run by Jennifer Yeates, Technical Training Manager of Zing 365.

I have worked as a trainer since 2003 and have been an Insurance Technical Trainer since 2008. My experience and knowledge are underpinned by qualifications in training practice and insurance. I pride myself in being flexible and, as I write all course materials, can specifically tailor the training to the needs of the business.

Prior to working for insurance brokers, I worked as an account executive, manager & trainer in the newspaper advertising industry. As a trainer, my key objectives were sales & business development. The design aspect of this role has definitely helped hone my skills in creating interesting & engaging presentations.

Having a successful & award-winning track record in a tough selling environment has given me insight to create impactful sales & negotiation training that has proven to be influential in improving sales & client engagement.

Committed to learning & development, I am in my second year of a Bachelor of Law (Honours) Degree.
