Delivering impactful and influential presentations by Kevin Hopton
Through this course delegates learn a range of presentation skills for various situations including formal and less formal stand up group presentations. Delegates may be required to deliver a work based presentation which the delegates need to bring to the day(preferably using powerpoint)to those attending the course.
Designed for:
All those who make presentations, give talks or speak to groups, e.g. presenting a report to a meeting, speaking to a group at work, making a presentation to an audience/clients.
Content:
By attending this course, delegates will be able to:

identify the principles of how to set objectives for a presentation & what is to be achieved from the presentation. i.e. “tell & sell” or “motivate or persuade” etc

deliver presentations to external or internal clients i.e. who is your audience?

plan and prepare for a presentation – including issues such as method &style of delivery (stand up, round the table), techniques, tools & room layout etc,

identify how to structure and design a presentation.

open the presentation and break the ice

create first impressions – the effect of the visual and the vocal.

create maximum impact with a theme and a thread

identify the key skills in delivering a presentation and handling audience reaction - communication skills, listening techniques when handling questions and other areas such as body language, building rapport etc.
