YPG: Young Professionals mentoring and networking event

Aimed at young professionals and new members in the industry. This event provides a CPD talk on networking, followed by time to put this into practice. There is also an optional mentoring session at the end of the evening, providing the chance to talk to senior professionals within the market.

Arrival: 6pm - 6.30pm

Networking Talk: 6.30pm - 7pm

Mentoring Session: 7pm - 8pm (mentees to come with 3-5 questions prepared)

Richard Sawyer, Aon Director and Head of UK terrorism team at Aon, with 25 years of experience in the insurance market will provide a talk on the importance of networking.

By attending this talk, delegates will be able to describe:

A one hour optional mentoring session will then follow with:

Richard Sawyer - Aon Director and Head of UK terrorism team at Aon – over 25 years experience in the insurance market

Adrian Gilbert - 30 years insurance experience within claims – managing director of SX3 Claims limited

Sheila Milbourne – CII council member plus Risk & Compliance director at Hood Group – over 20 years experience in the insurance market

Paul Hill - CII council/ ADNIC International Limited (Abu Dhabi National Insurance Company) Chief Executive Officer for International Business, 40 years insurance experience.

PLEASE NOTE: if there are insufficient numbers for the mentoring session, this part of the event will be turned into a networking session.
