IF1 Remote Revision Course - Insurance Legal and Regulatory

IF1 is the compulsory unit for the Certificate in Insurance, which consists of a 2 hour multiple choice exam, based on 100 questions.

The CII Certificate in Insurance is a core qualification for insurance staff working across all sectors of the insurance profession. It provides a fundamental grounding of the key insurance principles, and also includes the regulatory environment.

The Certificate develops the knowledge and confidence needed as you begin your studies according to your ambitions and career requirements. The Certificate requires a minimum of 40 CII credits for successful completion.

The CII generally recommends study time of 60 hours for IF1.

Alison Cooper FCII, Director of ACT One Training Services Ltd, will guide participants on the right study skills and exam technique, for IF1, by focusing on key areas of the syllabus.

Interactive training delivered in two seminars, will provide an opportunity for participants to build their insurance knowledge and practice multiple choice questions.

Study seminar 1: Thursday 25 February 2021, 9.30am-12.30pm

Study seminar 2: Thursday 04 March 2021, 9.30am-12.30pm

Delegates will need to commit to attending both sessions to benefit fully from the course.

Learning objectives:

By attending this course, participants will be able to:

  • highlight key areas of the IF1 exam syllabus
  • build their foundation insurance knowledge
  • practice multiple choice questions.

Participants will be expected to have the IF1 2021 study text to refer to on the day.

This event is limited to 20 members. Due to the limited capacity, this event is only available to members of the following Insurance Institutes: Bedford, Cambridge, Chelmsford, Ipswich, Norwich and Peterborough. Do not book if you cannot attend both sessions.
