We welcome back Susan Heaton-Wright to deliver this interview skills session. Interviews are being conducted virtually. Even when we are able to meet face to face again, recruiters indicate that there will be a combination of virtual and face to face interviews. There are a number of Communication techniques to help you nail an interview: performing with credibility and impact. This virtual workshop shares techniques for being interviewed. It is also an invaluable workshop for interviewers too to consider how to prepare, assess and ask questions.

CPD WEBINAR: Neurodiversity

In this one-hour webinar, we explore the significance of understanding and embracing neurodiversity within the workplace. We begin by defining neurodiversity and highlighting its importance in creating an inclusive work environment. We discuss legal and ethical considerations, such as the Equality Act 2010 and the duty to make reasonable adjustments, to ensure compliance and support for neurodivergent individuals. We provide strategies for creating an inclusive work environment, including training initiatives, flexible policies, and support networks.

President's Message

I am honoured to be taking on the position of President of the Insurance Institute of Cheltenham & Gloucester. I look forward to collaborating with the ever-hardworking Council members to provide a great experience for our 2,000+ members. Following an excellent President in Zoe Davis, I’m sure the coming year will be awesome!

My chosen charity is the Great Western Air Ambulance Charity (GWAAC). I decided to choose one that anyone could need at any time – it’s astonishing how much money it takes (£4m+ per year) to keep the helicopter in the air, and even more astonishing that there is no government funding for such a vital service, so it is funded entirely through the community and public donations.
