CII Annual Quiz

The IICG Annual quiz took place on 6^th April, once again hosted at Gordon League RFC.

15 teams took part, including members from Ecclesiastical, Ageas, Capita, Cass Stephens, AJG as well as a few ‘ad hoc’ teams.

The questions were again created by Russell and his team from Swiss Re, it certainly required a broad knowledge of all things from music, British Birds and Cartoon characters, to EU Countries and bands who played at Woodstock!

The eventual winners were ‘Nobody can remember’, made up of Rob Filby, Liz Giampa, Kay Mackay and Chris Phillimore. They took home a cash prize as well as the ‘David Porter’ Trophy, which has been played for annually since 1972.

Second place went to perennial high achievers, Allen Prior’s ‘Bad news if you’re a bloater’ with third place going to The Brexitologists.
