Overview:

Difficult conversations in the workplace are, unfortunately, a common occurrence. Whether you´re delivering bad news, giving a negative performance evaluation, or simply having to say no, this interactive course will give you hints and tips to manage these situations effectively.

Aim:

To give you a practical structure to deal with conflict and hold that difficult conversation that you have been putting off.

Objectives:

By the end of the session you will be able to –

 Use techniques and tools to deal with conflict

 Understand underlying causes of conflict

 Develop strategies to get to a win-win situation

Our speaker is a commercially focused Learning Manager and Chartered Psychologist with strategic and operational experience across both public and private sectors. Ali has proven ability to design and implement learning interventions that positively impact business performance and support behavioral change. She is Level A, B trained with extensive experience in advising on development (coaching) and selection decisions ( including Hogan, OPQ, MBTI, 15fq).

The workshop will start at 4pm and finish just before 6pm. Tea/coffee/water will be available.

The venue is able to fully cater for delegates who need access due to physical disabilities.

After the event,we would like to encourage participants to join CII Council Members at Portivo Lounge,Gloucester Quays for drinks and the chance to discuss future ideas and questions you have about events and CII council.
