IIC&G CHARITY GOLF DAY 2021 FOR CHELTENHAM ANIMAL SHELTER
IIC&G is pleased to confirm that its Annual Charity Golf Day can go ahead as planned on Friday 18th June 2021.
Brickhampton Golf Club are able to provide facilities in line with Government road map regulations for that day that include indoor and outdoor catering, changing room and shower facilities.
The day will follow our usual format being coffee and bacon roll on arrival, practice balls for the driving range, 18 holes golf on Spa Course followed by food after your round. At this stage we are exploring both a barbeque and sit down roast meal options. Brickhampton have 2 marquees on site to facility outside dining.
We expect the package to remain at £50 which includes your charity donation ( This is my final event as President for Cheltenham Animal Shelter. Despite missing out on 2 Presidential dinners and 1 golf day as President, we have been able to raise £6000 for CAS and a further £4000 for Motor Neurone Disease, Vale Stroke Hospital, Gloucester Foodbank and The Insurance Charities Fund by way of other events so thankyou for all your contributions)
Exact times and details TBC but we are looking at first tee off at 1030am and ideally groups of 4
More detailed information will follow about the competition rules and event organisation including payment. We will be able to offer BACS details and cash on the day
It would be great to hear from you if you or your business would like to sponsor any aspect of the day and to donate a raffle prize.
Booking: Places are limited so to book your place please book online below or email simon.mcgill@ecclesiastical.com. IF YOU BOOKED FOR THE 2020 EVENT YOUR PLACE HAS BEEN RESERVED AND YOU HAVE BEEN CONTACTED SEPARATELY
I really hope we can make this a great occasion and enjoy being outside, mixing safely and playing golf!
Cheltenham Animal Shelter is a charity that has been helping animals since 1926. They provide shelter for homeless cats, dogs and small pets. Each year they help around 1000 animals who need support, care and treatment at a cost of approx £650,000 without the help of any Government or Lottery funding.
Simon has 2 terriers of his own; life wouldn't be the same without them both, so he has been aiming to walk and run 2000 miles this year for our 2000 members to raise money and awareness.
Donations can made at https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/simonmcgill51 where you can also find updates and photos. Thankyou in advance of your help.
