CPD WEBINAR: DIFFERENTIATING CYBER RISKS
| Session overview During this training session participants will obtain a nuanced understanding of cyber risks and will ultimately be able to articulate, and differentiate between, the exposures and considerations of a variety of cyber risks. This webinar will ask ‘who is a cyber risk?’, exploring the plentiful number of individuals and organisations who can contribute to cyber risk. In turn, their motivations will be identified and the attack vectors explored. We will then relate these learnings to four different industry groups (professional services, retailers, heavy industry & HNWI): what exposures are of most concern to these sectors, and what does ‘good’ risk management look like? With the (un)authorised transfer of funds being of particular concern to many industry groups, we’ll discuss how the insurance market differentiates between ‘crime’ and ‘cyber’ risk. Lastly, we’ll touch upon how our trend towards long-term working from home, due to COVID-19, has led to a paradigm shift in cyber risk and how we can be more mindful of this in our own daily practices, and when considering the risk of our clients.
