IIC&G VIRTUAL 10K FUNDRAISER FOR THE HYGIENE BANK GLOUCESTER

The Hygiene Bank Gloucester really needs your support as they get up and running. It was formed from Gloucester based Ansvar Claims team ( part of Ecclesiastical)

So IIC&G thought let's get running (or walking, crawling, cycling) too and are delighted to announce our 2022 virtual 10k fundraiser will be for THB.

The Hygiene Bank has grown from a belief that basic hygiene is not a privilege. It’s not right that feeling clean should be a luxury for anyone in our society, yet many of us are living in poverty.

They would very much appreciate any monetary donations, however big or small, so that they can ring fence some funds and start helping some local community partners. Needs include specific sizes of nappies for baby charities, sanitary products for people affected by the unbelievable real thing that is period poverty and sun cream for street pastors.

Here is how you, IIC&G members, friends, families,anyone in the world can help!

This is a virtual 10k so ANYONE and EVERYONE can get involved throughout April and May SAFELY
You can cover 10km however YOU want by 11th May You can walk, run, cycle,hand stand - whatever works for you. Do it as one 10km, two 5kms or even ten 1kms. Get creative in these extraordinary circumstances. YOU CAN DONATE EVEN IF 10K IS NOT FOR YOU

How to sign up and donate:

1. Book your entry in the normal way through this page. Please type your postal address and where you work in case we need to get your medal to you this way

2.. Pay your £10 donation via Leah Cooper is fundraising for The Hygiene Bank (justgiving.com)

3. Travel your 10km YOUR way, anytime from 11th April until 11th May

4. Send a screenshot from your favourite fitness app or watch, or other evidence that you have completed 10km. Photos can come to sophie.gardner@ecclesiastical.com or be posted on our twitter linkedin and facebook platforms. Please do include photos showing you out and about and your location

5. Once the challenge is over, we will send out your well-earned medal.

Remember when booking your entry include your postal address and place of work so we can send out your memento - this will remain confidential and will not be used for any marketing purposes.
