- 1st speaker:
Steve Sayer from Utmost Wealth
Steve is a Chartered Financial Planner who holds the TEP qualification. He used to work as an International Technical Manager for AXA Isle of Man. After leaving he provided tax and trust technical services to International Life companies specialising in Non Domicile and IHT planning. Steve has also previously been involved with Cross Border planning and developing products for the UK High Net Worth market and has regularly delivered workshops and seminars to financial advisers and private bankers in both the UK and Switzerland.
'Trust Investments'
Steve will cover the primary factors that dictate appropriate trustee investments and consider the advantages and disadvantages of the main investment wrappers. He will cover how to discuss and explain this subject with a client in a clear and concise way and help you to apply this knowledge to appropriate, individual, client scenarios.

Gervais Williams, Fund Manager and Senior Executive Director at Miton Group
Gervais joined Miton Group in 2011. He manages a number of funds and trusts that aggregate to just under £2bn. His fund management career extends over 30 years, including 17 years at Gartmore. He is a member of the AIM Advisory Council, chairman of the Quoted Companies Alliance and a board member of The Investment Association. He has written three books 'Slow Finance'; 'The Future is Small'; and his most recent book 'The Retreat of Globalisation'

Mark Johnson from the Risk Company
Mark is a former military intelligence officer, drug enforcement agent & global head of network fraud & security, now engaged by CISI, QA Consulting, the City of London Police, the National Police Chief’s Council, CIFAS, the International Compliance Association, and MIS Training Institute.

- 4th speaker:
Alex Foster from Blackrock
Alex is Vice President in Blackrock’s Fundamental Equity Natural Resources Team.
'The role of commodities in investor portfolios'
Alex will cover the role of commodities in investor portfolios and discuss the outlook for natural resources equities. He will comment on the energy, mining and agriculture sectors and explain where the team sees the best risk-adjusted opportunities. Alex will also comment on current positioning and how investors can get exposure to natural resources through BlackRock’s Natural Resources Growth & Income Fund.
