Cert CII Online Insurance Examination Training
The Insurance Institute of Chester & North Wales has joined with other Local Institutes of the CII to offer our members online examination training.
If you are interested, you need to act quickly. The training starts on 8th January 2024.
The Certificate in Insurance is a core qualification for insurance staff working across all sectors of the profession, developing core knowledge.
You can choose between two courses. There is a course specifically for those working in insurance broking. We believe that’s a first. For everyone else, your course deals with the fundamentals of underwriting and claims. There are nine half-days of training. Full details of the subjects, dates, and timings are below.
If you are interested in signing up for either course, the first step is to discuss with your manager. Hopefully your firm will fund your study text and examination entry, plus allow time to attend the study sessions. The Insurance Institute of Chester & North Wales will fund the training. Once you’ve got agreement, fill out the form below and send to the email address shown on the form.
Training will be on-line, given by professional independent trainers experienced in CII examination training.
Broker Pathway subjects are IF1 (Legal & Regulatory), IF2 (General Insurance Business), and I10 (Broking Fundamentals).
Insurer Pathway subjects are IF1 (Legal & Regulatory), IF3 (Underwriting Process) and IF4 (Claims Handling Process).
Training days are:

8th, 15th and 22nd January 2024
-
5th, 12th and 19th February 2024
