We fancied a change and are pleased to tell you we're going back to the Sheraton Grand Hotel, Edinburgh.

Yes, The Insurance Society of Edinburgh's annual dinner will be held at the Sheraton on Friday 6th November.

As always, this event promises to be entertaining, inspiring and provides a fantastic opportunity for you to meet your peers and colleagues from the industry whilst celebrating our profession.

This year's key speakers will be Mike Stevenson, Gordon Smith and Dr Sandy Scott.

Mike Stevenson:
Mike Stevenson is a motivational speaker and has the rare ability to get inside the heads of people and inspire them. He connects in a way that few can; lifting and refocusing his audiences to think and act differently. Mike's journey has been remarkable: a journey that has taken him from sleeping rough in London to becoming an award-winning entrepreneur.

Gordon Smith:
After a successful career in financial services he is deeply in love with the sound of other people's voices and is a very funny social animal. His upbringing in the north-east of England has enabled him to charm his way out of any kind of scrape. As master of preparation - Gordon's wit is legend-ary.

Dr Sandy Scott:
Currently the chief executive officer at the Chartered Insurance Institute. During his time at the CII it has grown immeasurably and is now widely recognised across the world as the leading profes-sional body operating in insurance and financial services. The successful implementation of chartered status, the creation of the Aldermanbury Declaration and an almost doubling of membership is testament to the impact he has had.

Tickets are priced at £750 per table - tables will be made up of ten individuals.

Individual tickets are priced at £75 per head.
