The ISE Annual Dinner 2023

Venue

We have a new venue this year and I am delighted to say that the dinner will be held at the Ghillie Dhu on Thursday 12^th October.

The venue, and Thursday evening timing, allows us to offer this year's tickets at the reduced cost of £65 per head, however it is a smaller venue than we have used in previous year and we will be limited to 180 diners. I very much hope you will choose to be one of them, and I encourage you to book early to avoid disappointment.

Entertainment

Our after dinner entertainment will be provided by some of the industry's own who have offered their services by way of raising money for a very good cause.

‘Consumer Duty’ are a band formed by a group of people who would very much like to be rock stars but unfortunately have to earn a living through financial services – Mark ‘The Lang Cat’ Polson, Ian ‘Money Alive’ Beeston, Nigel ‘the firm is named after me’ Ross-Scott, Chris ‘Financial Wellbeing’ Budd and the lovely Jenny ‘unfortunately works for Mark’ Smyth.

In 2022 they raised £50,000 in a single gig ‘Rock for Ukraine’ which was unfortunately held in London and so this is a treat for those who couldn't afford or didn't fancy a trip to the big smoke.

Sponsorship Opportunities

We are as usual looking for firms who would like to raise their profile by donating a raffle prize or sponsoring one of the services on the night.

The lower cost per diner offered by the Ghillie Dhu has been passed on to our guests and we are very much hoping that some of you may be inspired to use the money saved to help us with one of the following costs:

AV costs: £2,000 (or 2 x £1,000; 4 x £500)

Photographs: £300

Piper: £150

All proceeds from the raffle will go to ‘Rock for Ukraine’.

The room will as usual be laid out for tables of 10, however smaller groups are very welcome and will be be seated on a shared table.
