Please join DLA Piper for its inaugural cybersecurity breakfast seminar session for the Insurance Society of Edinburgh on 26 February 2024.

The last year has witnessed a swathe of headline making cyber-attacks worldwide with no current sign of any downturn. Ransomware and business email compromise events, leading to encryption and data exfiltration remain significant risks. No business sector or organisation is immune unfortunately, including insurance and personal wealth.

The event will start with a networking breakfast at 08:30 followed by presentations from James McGachie and Patricia Taylor from DLA Piper’s cybersecurity practice.

The session will focus on:

  • Insights on the latest trends in cyber-attacks from around the world, including the recent uptick in ransomware incidents.

  • Cyber assurance and resilience and how businesses in your sector should prepare to protect themselves from the menace of cyber adversaries.

  • Perspectives on effective incident response and how to manage the consequences of a breach.

DLA Piper lawyers advise on all aspects of the data protection and cyber security lifecycle. During the pre and post seminar networking intervals, there will be the opportunity to meet the team and ask any specific questions you may have.

Space is limited. If you would like to attend, please register.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact rhea.ingramsmith@dlapiper.com.
