You have asked and we have listened. The Insurance Society of Edinburgh are happy to announce we are hosting a CPD webinar on Embracing Imposter Syndrome alongside the wonderful Caroline Martin.

In this interactive webinar, Caroline Martin explores how we give ourselves and others positive reinforcement to overcome imposter syndrome and set up for success.

Imposter syndrome is a feeling of unworthiness or incompetence, despite achieving accomplishments and success. This feeling is most common in the workplace, but it can manifest in just about any part of life. Many of us have encountered imposter syndrome when taking on a task or role that is new to us.

Learning objectives:

• Examples of imposter syndrome, where it shows up in business and how it can make us feel
• Discuss how the brain is naturally wired to look for danger and how this can add to the feelings of imposter syndrome
• Explore how we can overcome imposter syndrome to set up for success

This is a live session and will not be recorded. We are aiming to create the feel of an in-person event whilst having the luxury of joining from wherever you are. Where possible, please have your cameras on so that you can contribute and interact with the group.

Speaker Details

Caroline is a a certified NLP Trainer, accredited coach, five-time firewalker, aspiring nutritionist and Founder of her coaching and training business, Enabling Wings.

Caroline has worked with bespoke multinational clients for almost 30 years and until recently was President of the Chelmsford and South Essex CII.
She helps professionals gain clarity and excel by providing leadership coaching, NLP training and coaching certifications. Caroline is a big picture thinker that likes to drill into the details. She has a passion for helping leaders align values and behaviours to their vision, creating strategies for personal, professional and business success!

In 2022 Caroline became a best selling co-author of a Women’s leadership book ‘Determined to rise’ and in 2023 she commenced the marathon journey to become a Master Trainer of NLP.
