Speaker – Tim Marlow

Tim Marlow is Head of Autonomous & Connected Vehicle Research at Ageas UK. He joined Ageas in April 2013 and has developed and implemented strategies and solutions for telematics and usage based insurance within Ageas companies. For the last 4 years he has focussed on the ways in which increasing vehicle automation and connectivity, the development and deployment of both highly and fully automated vehicles on Europe’s roads and the introduction of intelligent mobility will impact the insurance world.

Tim has built extensive knowledge and experience of developments in automotive technology, the associated legal and regulatory framework and the insurance marketplace, having spent nearly 40 years in the insurance industry, holding senior positions at a number of companies including Hiscox, Eastgate and Capita and helping to set up and launch the UK’s largest telematics insurance operation at Insure The Box.
