The 98th Annual Dinner

The Insurance Institute of Exeter are delighted to announce that our 2020 98^th Annual Dinner will take place on Friday 6 March 2020. Our annual black tie/dinner dress event will be held at Somerset County Cricket Ground and promises to be another fantastic, memorable evening with good food, fine wine and fantastic entertainment. Book now to avoid disappointment as places are limited.

Ticket Prices

Tickets are priced at £55.00 per person and £550.00 for a table of ten.

Event Information

The evening will include a four-course meal and live entertainment throughout the evening from acts including:

The Haus Band – six talented musicians which will provide a great show and high-octane energy to our evening, bringing together fantastic covers from the 1960’s to the present day

The Bath Magician – throughout your evening, you will be treated with phenomenal magic entertainment from our two award winning magicians, Grant Maidment and Gary Jones. Both are members of the world-famous Magic Circle in London and are sure to leave you absolutely spellbound. They will wow you with their seamless sleight of hand, amazing presentations and engaging personas

Parody Portraits – providing live caricature entertainment throughout the evening

South West Photobooths - will once again be in attendance with their Magic Mirror to help capture the memories of the evening

We are proud to be supporting exclusively as our chosen charity, St Margaret’s Hospice Care. Since 1980, St Margaret’s Hospice has been dedicated to delivering high quality, responsive and compassionate care to patients and their families facing a life-limiting illness. There will be additional entertainment provided by our chosen charity during the evening. Cash donations will be required for any game entry and for your chance to win great prizes during the evening.

Venue, Directions, Travel and Parking Information

Venue: An overview of the venue can be found at https://www.360southwest.co.uk/sccc/

Directions: Exit Junction 25 on M5 motorway. Follow the signs A38 to Taunton. Go straight across at the next roundabout. At the traffic lights go straight on (past Fitness First). Go across the next roundabout /*(signposted cricket).

For Car Park A: Go straight across at the next roundabout, keeping the Shell Petrol Station on the left. The entrance is 400 yards along on the left. (Postcode TA1 1QD). Please note Car Park A is the most convenient car park for the event.

For Car Park B: Bear left at the next roundabout, keeping the Shell Petrol Station on the right. Go straight on at the traffic lights and the entrance can be found 100 yards along on the right. (Postcode TA1 1JT)

Parking: There is ample pay and display parking at the Cooper Associates County Ground. Cyclists: Somerset County Cricket Club is cyclist friendly with several cycle paths close to the Cooper Associates County Ground. On-site we also have bicycle racks situated near the Priory Bridge Road and St James Street Gates.

Important Special Instructions: For those arriving before 18:00 hours please ensure you enter your vehicle registration on the iPad located in the Colin Atkinson building to avoid penalty charges.
