Barney Burton is a Director within DWF's London Markets and Global Risks insurance team. He has over 15 years experience of acting for insurers handling complex and financially significant casualty and property claims, often with an international element to the disputes. Barney also acts for insurers in respect of energy related disputes involving power stations, oil platforms, turbines, cooling towers, pipelines etc.

Barney has significant experience of pursuing litigation before the Technology & Construction and Commercial Courts and has had cases proceeding to the Court of Appeal. He is a keen exponent of ADR and has attended numerous arbitrations and mediations both in the U.K. and overseas.
